Angela wins HoH and blindsides oblivious Faysal with nominations

Last week, Faysal made one of the dumbest moves in Big Brother history when he sent home his own ally in Scottie. Despite all the viewers realizing he made a huge mistake, Fessy realized it too little and most likely too late.

Sunday’s Big Brother episode picked up with the HoH competition underway. Faysal is a little too sure of himself and acting a little arrogant, claiming his HoH was a “huge success” in the Diary Room. The objective of the competition is to get the highest score by rolling a ball down a platform and locking it in. Angela rolls a 39 and no other houseguest gets close and she wins her second HoH of the season.

Faysal is extremely confident with Angela’s win, thinking he and Haleigh are safe this week. Little does he know, she is secretly planning to get him out. Haleigh is a little unsure about this deal with Tyler and Angela but Fessy is on board with it because he’s well…. as Zingbot put it, a moron.

Faysal Shafaat was oblivious to what’s to come

Haleigh’s right to be suspicious after she walks in on Level 6 celebrating Angela’s win but did not include her and Fessy. She goes and tells him what she saw but Fessy tells her he trusts the deal that was made and tells her she’s being paranoid.

Angela and Haleigh talk about the nominations plan and Haleigh volunteers to go up as a pawn. Faysal is too cocky and thinks he can talk Angela out of putting up Haleigh next to Sam. The conversation does not go as planned and then JC enters to deliver the final blow. Remember, in Faysal’s deluded mind, he thinks JC is his “best friend” and trusts him the most. JC tells Angela that if he puts only one of Haleigh and Fessy, they could save the other with the Power of Veto and one of L6 could go home.

At the nomination ceremony, Angela nominates Haleigh and Faysal and of course, Fessy is stunned. Angela tells them that to come to them on Day 61 and try to make a deal raised a red flag and sealed their fate this week.

Will Faysal or Haleigh save themselves with the Power of Veto? Find out when Big Brother continues on Wednesday night at 8/7c on CBS. If you can’t wait until then, head to our spoilers page to find out who won the veto and if it was used.
