Big Brother 24 continued on CBS yesterday, with the houseguests competing in the latest Power of Veto competition of the season.

The episode begins with Turner admitting that his nominations speech was “mostly a lie” – this is because Joseph had earlier told him about Michael’s final 4 deal, alongside Taylor and Brittany. Kyle meanwhile says that “Dyre Fest” saved his game and feels safe in the house this week.

Turner later goes to apologise to Michael in the Have Not room for putting both Brittany and Taylor on the block – Michael says it’s not the end of the world if one of the girls goes home… However, Turner lies to him in saying that he has no plans to put him on the block.

At the Veto drawing ceremony, Turner picks Alyssa, Taylor picks Monte whilst Brittany picks Veto king Michael.

The competition this week is a classic slip ‘n slide! With movie posters everywhere, the six players have to transport wine from one side of the backyard to the other, whilst walking over a slippery runway – who ever fills their container first will win the PoV.

Michael determines that it’s a waste of time to go for the large scooper and gets off to an early lead and eventually pulls of victory yet again, earning his fifth Veto win of the season.

Brittany and Michael wonder if Turner will put Monte on the block as a backdoor now that Michael won Veto. They eventually decide to throw Kyle under the bus about his prior Cookout speculations in the house with the hope to keep all four Big Brochella houseguests safe.

Michael gathers Monte and Taylor in the Have-Not room and tells them about the Kyle information, with Brittany also present. Big Brother shows a clip Kyle asking Brittany and Michael about becoming an alliance with Alyssa and Turner to go up against a possible alliance of minorities.

“It goes beyond game,” Brittany says about the speculation. Taylor is “shaking” after hearing it. Monte says it’s one of the last things he wanted to hear and Michael wonders if they should go to Turner with the details. The scene ends with Taylor’s remark that if there’s anyone who can act on the information, it’s Michael and Brittany.

Now Michael and Brittany are having a meeting with Alyssa where they let her know about her showmance partner seeing “divisions” happen in the house. She is “confused” and “extremely overwhelmed” about hearing all the stuff about Kyle. Alyssa appreciates hearing it and says she would never be a part of a group based on race.

Michael later tells Turner details, with Turner saying that he is glad to have learned the info, but isn’t sure what to do with it.

Turner “hates” that his name was brought up as a potential member of an all-white alliance. Kyle feels “alone” so he talks to Alyssa. Kyle tells her that this is “life-changing” and that it could ruin his life. He says it’s “not true at all.” He goes to the HoH room, but Turner says that he wants to finish his conversation with Michael and Brittany first.

The episode ends with Kyle breaking down in tears saying that “the hint of race” would never cross his mind.
