Houseguests were witness to a spectacular blindside at last nights eviction, as Girls Girls alliance ringleader Ameerah was sent packing.
The show started with the veto ceremony that saw reigning HoH Turner, name Ameerah and Terrance as replacement nominees after Veto winners Michael and Brittany used the PoV to save themselves from the block. The decision shocked just about everyone, who has expected Turner to use the veto to place Nicole and Taylor on the block, with Taylor as the assumed target. Turner used his veto speech to call out the pile on that was occurring within the house, in reference to the mistreatment of Taylor.
But a bigger shock was yet to come, with everyone convinced that Terrance would be walking out the door, Ameerah was shocked to learn she would be the one leaving, by a vote of 7-4.
Speaking to host Julie Chen Moonves following her eviction, she said she was only kind of shocked as she knew she was a bigger threat than Terrance, and even though everyone was telling her she was safe, she didn’t quite believe them.
Following the shock eviction, Julie gathered the remaining Besties in the living room to let them know that after each eviction during the Festie Bestie twist, the remaining Bestie will choose a group to join who will then play as a three. Terrance chose to join Joseph and Monte.
Then it was time to find a new HoH, in the first part of this ‘invitation’ based comp, 1500 letters fell from the sky, with each houseguest furiously hunting for a red invitation to progress to the next part of the comp. With only 8 letters in play, 4 houseguests will miss out on the opportunity to compete for the HoH.
At the end of the episode, Jasmine, Terrance and Brittany were the only houseguests with an invite.
