Last night on Big Brother 24 the houseguests competed in the latest PoV competition of the season as the nominees try to save themselves from the block.

The episode picks up in the aftermath of the Nominations Ceremony which saw besties Monte, Joseph and Terrance on the block.

Monte believes that himself and Joseph will be safe from the threat of eviction this week due to the Leftovers alliance. Daniel and Terrance discuss how Monte is the biggest threat in the house.

In the HoH room, Kyle opens up to Michael about not being entirely sure about sending Daniel home this week. He feels that his position in The Leftovers is tough due to his relationship with Alyssa.

At the Veto selection meeting, already competing were Michael, Brittany, Monte, Terrance and Joseph. Michael had the task of drawing at random the final pair for besties to compete – he picked Turner and Jasmine.

For this week’s Veto competition, OTEV was back and this year in the form of a country cockroach that spews sewage on the players.

The houseguests had to search the backyard for answers to questions about the season so far.

Brittany, Turner and Jasmine are first to be eliminated, whilst Joseph and Monte are eliminated in round 2.

This leaves HoH Michael and nominee in the game for the final round. Before the round could begin however, Terrance told Michael that he needed him to win the competition and said that he would explain later why.

Terrance followed through with his words and threw the comp to Michael, which resulted in Michael winning his fourth Veto win of the season!

Terrance told Jasmine of his plan to try and get Monte out this week instead of Daniel, with Jasmine agreeing that the best case scenario this week was for nominations to remain the same – they hoped to appeal to Michael as a Big Brother superfan to make a big move against Monte.

Approaching Michael, Terrance pointed out that he is too big of a threat to keep around and that they couldn’t be sure they would get another chance to act. Jasmine, Indy, Alyssa and Daniel also approach Michael with the same idea. Michael, however, saw it as a concerted effort and set up due to the fact that all of them had approached Michael with the plan.

Michael and Brittany discussed the plan with Turner as a result and it ended up getting flipped that getting Monte out would actually benefit too many people that he isn’t working with in the game. Now convinced that he wouldn’t be moving against Monte, Michael told him all of the names that had been trying to get him out this week.

At the Veto meeting, Michael caused disappointment to the other side of the house by removing Monte, Joseph and Terrance from the block, nominated Kyle and Daniel in their place – it’s for the good of the house he said.
