Was it Daniel or Kyle sent packing from the Big Brother house?

Big Brother 24 lost another houseguest last night in the fifth eviction of the season, but was it Kyle or Daniel who was sent home?

Julie opened the show by announcing that the ‘Festie Bestie’ twist which has been running for a couple of weeks will conclude after the eviction.

As usual, the episode starts with catching us up on events in the house in-between the Veto ceremony and the live show. Daniel finally figures out that Kyle is working with the other aide of the house.

Kyle later decides that he must remain loyal to The Leftovers and has to ditch Alyssa as her attempt to get Monte out of the house was way too sloppy. He tells Alyssa that it wouldn’t hurt for them both to be more distant with each other, which confuses Alyssa.

Realising that he must try to break up a large alliance, Daniel tries to turn Alyssa against Kyle. He later reveals The Leftover alliance to her, and says that Kyle is aligned with them.

At the live vote and eviction, both Daniel and Kyle make their speeches to try and gain them safety in the vote.

Daniel highlights that Michael has won 5 competitions and that they’re foolish if they don’t see what is coming next.

By a vote of 8-1, Daniel became the fifth houseguest to be evicted from the house. Terrance was the only houseguest which voted to save him.

The episode ends with the houseguests competing in the next Head of Household competition.

A classic endurance wall competition where the last player hanging will win control of the house this week.

Who will win the Head of Household competition? Find out Sunday on CBS.
