Jag Bains become first Big Brother Sikh winner

The historic 25th anniversary season of Big Brother came to conclusion on CBS last night, after a 100 day long series.

It was 25 year old Jag Bains, a truck company owner from Washington who was crowned winner, coming victorious over alliance member, Matt Klotz and Bowie Jane.

Jas is the first Sikh-American to enter the Big Brother house in the United States and has now become the first to win the US version of the show.

Jag claimed the victory by a jury vote of 5-2 over Matt, saying that he was “on top of the world”. He also said that it was the greatest experience of his life.

Jag was originally evicted from the house during week 4, but was saved by Matt who had won the ‘Power of Invincibility’ that week. Jag and Matt were aligned for most of the game.

As a result of winning the show he is awarded the $750,000 cash prize, whilst Matt takes $75,000 for coming second place.

Meanwhile, America voted for Cameron Hardin to be favorite houseguest, taking home a $50,000 prize. “I am speechless, thank you so much” he declared.
