Luke Valentine removed from the house after using racist slur

Luke Valentine has been removed from the Big Brother 25 house, CBS have confirmed, following a racial slur which was captured during a conversation on the shows live feed.

During a conversation with fellow houseguests Jared, Cory and Hisam, Valentine said ‘We were in the f****** room, n****’ before correcting himself and saying ‘dude.’

In the aftermath of the incident, Cory and Hisam were seen looking at a laughing Valentine in shock, as Valentine continued: ‘Anyway, we were in the f****** room’ as he turns to Jared and says: ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry’ to which Fields says: ‘You’re off the f****** ledge.’

A grinning Luke later went on to say ‘I’m in trouble now, oh well I’ve been in worse trouble .’

His remark has sparked uproar on social media with fans calling for him to be removed from the house.

CBS later provided the following statement in response to the situation, confirming that Luke had indeed been removed from the show:

“Luke violated the BIG BROTHER code of conduct and there is zero tolerance in the house for using a racial slur. He has been removed from the house. His departure will be addressed in Thursday night’s show.”

Luke is just the 5th houseguest to be ejected from the American version of Big Brother and is the first houseguest to have been ejected from the house since 2012 when Willie Hantz was removed after going on a rampage in which he threw pork rinds at fellow houseguest Janelle, swore at the female HouseGuests, and headbutted another houseguest.
