Bayleigh’s reign as HoH queen begins as she makes a surprising move

Bayleigh became the new queen of the Big Brother house in Sunday night’s episode and she is taking no prisoners. If you thought Sam’s case of HOHitis was bad, you haven’t seen anything yet.

Sunday’s episode picks up following Kaitlyn’s failed attempt to get herself back into the game. Faysal and Rockstar are very happy, while Tyler is concerned over JC’s hinky vote and is wanting to know who did it. Tyler then tells the group he did not vote for Kaitlyn to stay and paranoia ensues in the house.

It is time to find a new Head of Household in a competition called “The 8 Second Challenge”, where the houseguests will have to slide an “email” from one end to the other close to eight seconds. Bayleigh goes first and finishes with a time of 8.08. No one got close to that time, apart from JC, who gets 8.48. So Bayleigh became the new HoH.

Tyler and Bayleigh have a conversation and she takes a page from Donald Trump’s playbook and asks for loyalty from him. He explains (well, lies) to her that he is hurting from Kaitlyn’s eviction and it works perfectly. Bayleigh tells Tyler she won’t be kicking him when he’s down and won’t be on the block this week.

Bayleigh is working on figuring out who she wants to put up on the block and quickly decides Brett is going to be one of the nominees. Bayleigh gets a bad case of HOHitis when asking Scottie if he was the hinky vote. He says no and she tells him he needs to be on “Team Bay” and again is demanding loyalty from him. What the edit did not show is that Bayleigh also made Scottie swear on the bible that he won’t betray her. And I thought Sam was bad!

JC is the next to get the loyalty speech from Bayleigh but he isn’t so quick to give it. So Bay wants to use him as the pawn. This gets back to Faysal and eventually leads to a three-way argument between Bayleigh, Haleigh, and Faysal.

If her massive power trip wasn’t bad enough, Bayleigh found a way to make things worse for herself. In order to build trust, she told Rachel about her power app. And then tells Rachel she’s using her as a pawn. Really smart, Bay.

At the nomination ceremony, Bayleigh went through with her plan and nominated Brett and Rachel.
