Faysal wins the Power of Veto and makes one of his girls very happy

Faysal was stuck between a rock and hard place in Wednesday night’s Big Brother. After winning the Power of Veto, he had to decide between Haleigh or Kaitlyn to use it on. This is basically Big Brother’s version of The Bachelor.

Ya know, without the roses and water skies.

Wednesday’s episode was one of the best in a long time. It picks up following Sam’s odd nominations of the girls and both are in tears in the Diary Room. Sam is in the Diary Room saying neither Haleigh or Kaitlyn has the ‘grit’ to return to the house and if they did, they’d just get eliminated again.

After calming down, Kaitlyn goes up to talk to Sam. Kaitlyn said she took issue with Sam’s reasoning but the Welder tells her they don’t see eye to eye on what “female empowerment” truly means. Sam claims over and over that she’s old fashion and demands respect, saying it bothers her to see Haleigh and Kaitlyn ‘hanging all over’ the men of the house.

And yet when Sam talks to Fessy later in the show, she is hugging him and cuddling with him. So, what was that again about you don’t like to hang all over guys, Sam?

Big Brother legend Rachel Reilly returned to the house to host the Veto competition “The Chop, Bonk”, which is basically you getting hit with a mallet in the groin, stomach, and head. The key is all about memory. Fessy is ahead with six points and Kaitlyn has five, so she claims she threw him the veto. But Fessy was ahead of her. So… he… won it? Yes, Faysal wins the PoV.

The drama continues when Faysal is torn on who to save. Haleigh is worried but he reassures her that he will use the veto on her. When Fessy and Kaitlyn talk, it goes differently. He doesn’t really give her an answer – but his non-answer is the answer. *Cue Kaitlyn freak out*

Tyler gets the hint that Faysal is going to use the veto, so he gets to work planting seeds to Sam. He tells her Rockstar needs to go up but she says she already knows what she is going to do and not to change her mind.

At the veto meeting, Faysal goes through with his plan to take Haleigh off the block. Sam decides to nominate JC – but he stops her mid-sentence. He tells her she can’t do this to him and to think about it. So Sam nominates Rockstar instead. So much for Sam not changing her mind, huh?

If that wasn’t bad enough, Sam tells the entire house about her power app, leaving everyone stunned.

Will Haleigh or Kaitlyn be evicted from the Big Brother house? Will Sam’s Power App give them a chance to return? Find out Thursday LIVE at 9/8c on CBS with host Julie Chen for the fourth eviction of the season.
