Rachel Swindler evicted from Big Brother in blindside shocker

Rachel Swindler is interviewed by Julie Chen on Big Brother. BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 94 HD cameras and 113 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. Vegas entertainer Rachel Swindler was left speechless after she was evicted from the Big Brother house on Thursday night. The fifth eviction saw the most shocking blindside of the season so far, leaving Rachel and one side of the house stunned.

Thursday’s episode picks up following Tyler’s decision to not use the Power of Veto. Rachel is upset because she doesn’t want her nor Brett to go home this week and it means Level 6 will lose another alliance member.

Meanwhile, L6 was telling Rachel she’d be safe this week all while secretly plotting to vote her out. Bayleigh and HIVE, formally known as FOUTTE, were left completely in the dark. Scottie went as far as to say that Tyler would also be sending Brett home. Oh, if they only knew.

When it was time for the live vote and eviction, Brett exposed both Bayleigh’s power app and the all-girls alliance known as the “Man-Eaters” and planted a seed that they were planning to pick off the remaining men one by one.

Brett’s plan worked as Rachel was evicted in a 5-4 vote. The result left her stunned and crying as she exited the house. She joined host Julie Chen for an interview that was one for the ages, mainly because she was speechless. Literally.

Rachel Swindler is the 5th houseguest to be evicted on Big Brother.

“I don’t know what to think,” she said. “I’m completely blindsided right now.”

She continued: I was told by Bayleigh that I was going to be the pawn and Brett was the target. I had everyone telling me I was okay. I just don’t know.”

Julie pushed her for answers, asking her who she think turned on her and who she’s mad at. It was after Julie made her list off the votes that it became clear and as she realized Level 6 turned on her, Rachel’s face dropped.

“I don’t know,” she said. “I can’t believe they did that.”

But the biggest anger from Rachel came at Angela’s goodbye message where she basically admitted their entire friendship was fake.

“You talked yourself onto the block,” Angela said in the recorded message. “You lied to my face and your stories made no sense. You are about as our alliance is irrelevant like you’ve been since week two.”

Houseguest play HOH Comp – Gif That Keeps On Giving”

“What the…frick,” Rachel exclaimed. “WHAT?”

It was then time for the Head of Household competition. The comp saw the houseguests rely on their memory after viewing gifs on the memory wall last night. It came down a tiebreaker between Rockstar and Angela, with Angela being crowned the new HoH.

Before the show ended, Julie informed the viewers of a new twist called “The Hacker Comp” that will see someone be able to change the game.

Who will Angela nominate for eviction? Find out when Big Brother continues on Sunday night at 8/7c. If you can’t wait until then, head to our spoilers page for live updates from the Big Brother house all weekend long.
