Kevin, David and Dani sent packing in first ever triple eviction

After an eventful evening of gaming and grinding, the house is looking a little emptier today that it was yesterday after the departure of not one, not two, but three houseguests!

The evening started off as planned with the live eviction vote with either Kevin or David headed for jury, after David’s surprising decision to take the $10,000 prize rather than play for the veto.

Despite much outrage at David’s outlandish move, the committee ultimately decided it had bigger fish to fry, in the form of Kevin, choosing to send him of to jury as the first evictee of the night.

Season 22 of BIG BROTHER ALL-STARS follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 94 HD cameras and 113 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, someone will be voted out of the house, with the last remaining Houseguest receiving the grand prize of $500,000. With that, it was time to get down to business as the HoH was up for grabs in what the houseguest at this point, believed to be a double eviction. More on that later. This competition saw houseguests pick whether a statement, read by Julie, about the cameos from BB legend Dr Will Kirby, was either True or False. The houseguest still standing after 7 questions would be crowned the new Head of Household. David, Dani, and Tyler all fell at the first hurdle, closely followed by Nicole, leaving Memphis, Enzo and Christmas to battle it out for the power. Memphis clutches the win, pretty much instantly sealing David’s fate.

He nominated Nicole and David, who fought in the Power of Veto competition alongside Memphis as HoH and Tyler, Christmas and Dani who were chosen by random draw. The competition required each houseguest to assemble a fiery veto puzzle mirroring an already assembled icy veto puzzle at the opposite side of the arena, before running back across the beams to press their buzzer. If any houseguest touched the floor, they would instantly be eliminated. Christmas was first to correctly complete the puzzle and buzz in, wining the veto and ultimately choosing to keep noms the same, much to the surprise of no one.

This is where things got a little interesting, as it looked briefly like Nicole may be the next houseguest headed to jury, following rouge votes from Tyler and Christmas. Obviously, because this season is nothing if not predictable, order is restored shortly and its revealed that David will become the next member of the jury following a 3-2 vote.

So at this point the remaining houseguests think they’re home and dry – time to fight for the next HoH, everyone is safe for another few days at least. A charade that they wanted to keep going for a little longer and would have successfully managed to, had it not been for Julie appearing on screen in the house with a “Triple Eviction” graphic in shot behind her. Congratulations CBS.

At this point, Julie confirms tonight is a first in the history of Big Brother (in the US at least) as it is indeed a triple eviction.

The houseguests gather once more for more True of False questions in the back yard – with Julie this time making statements about the season. Nicole, Enzo and Dani are first to be eliminated, leaving Cody, Christmas and Tyler to battle it out for the HoH power. Tyler takes home the win and immediately nominates Nicole and Dani, with Dani his presumed target.

Next comes the 2nd veto competition of the night which saw houseguest disassemble their complete veto puzzle from the previous competition, before carrying the puzzle pieces across the balance beams and reassembling at the other side. Both Christmas and *almost* heartbreakingly Nicole (look it would be heart-breaking if it was anyone but Nicole… or any of the remaining houseguest for that matter… okay?) fall and are immediately eliminated. Tyler goes on to win the PoV and, again to the surprise of no one, doesn’t use it.

When it came down to the final vote of the evening, following a bold attempt to throw Christmas and Tyler under the bus, Dani becomes the next member of the jury in a unanimous 4-0 vote.
