Houseguests in a spin over PoV

The Houseguests compete to win the Power of Veto. During the Veto meeting, the winner of the competition can keep nominations the same, or save someone from eviction for the week on BIG BROTHER Wednesday, July 28 (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network and live streaming on P+. With Brent and Britini on the block, the power of veto was once again back up for grabs in this weeks veto competition.

Before the comp got underway, players were chosen by random draw. Current HoH Xavier, pulled the houseguest’s choice chip and chose Christian to compete, Brent drew Derek F to compete and Britini drew Whitney to compete in the comp.

This week was a BB classic in the form of “Dizzy Bowling”, where each competing houseguest had to spin on a handle 15 times, before proceeding to knock down specific pins on the bowling alley. Any time they encountered a block they had to return to their pedestals and spin again to continue bowling. The first houseguest to knock down all the pins is the winner, whilst their opponent is eliminated. Britini went first and chose to face off against Brent, with Brent winning the first round.

Next Xavier took on Brent, who ended up vomiting, with Xavier claiming victory. Next up, Derek F took on Whitney with Derek F bringing home the win. Christian then took on Derek F and Xavier in succession, beating both to take home the Power of Veto!

With Brent convinced the house is planning to turn on Xavier come eviction night, he urges Christian not to use the veto so they can shock Xavier by sending home Britini come eviction night. This is convenient for Christian who had no plan to use the veto anyway and so, the veto ceremony passes and it remains unused.

We have a sneaky suspicion Brent is in for a rude awakening come eviction night – tune in on Thursday at 8/7c on CBS and stick with Big Blagger for the latest.
