Olympics fever hits the house in volleyball Veto comp

The Houseguests compete to win the Power of Veto. During the Veto meeting, the winner of the competition can keep nominations the same, or save someone from eviction for the week on BIG BROTHER Wednesday, August 4 (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network and live streaming on P+. Following Christian’s nominations, the PoV was once again up for grabs.

First, houseguests participated in the customary random draw to select Veto players. As current HoH, Christian went first, drawing Clare’s chip. Next up, Hannah drew the Houseguest’s Choice chip and she chose Derek X to compete. Finally, Whitney completed the line-up by drawing Azah’s chip.

Next, it was time for the Veto competition, which saw houseguests compete against themselves in a game of beach volleyball. Each houseguest had a ramp which they had to use to roll their ball over the net before rushing to the other side and returning it. Every time they do so without letting the ball drop, the houseguest score a point. First to 100 points wins, with each of their counters reseting to zero if they allow the ball to drop.

Azah, Christian and Derek X quickly took the lead, before Azah ran out of steam and let her ball drop, leaving Christian and Derek X to battle it out head to head for the power of veto. Both gave it their best, but ultimately Christian narrowly won the race making it to 100 before Derek X and therefore ensuring he has total control over the nominations this week.

Whitney then makes a strong case for Christian to use the PoV, but to no avail as he decided to, unsurprisingly, keep nominations as they were, thereby sealing the fate of either Whitney or Hannah.

Who will the houseguests send packing? Tune in to Big Brother at 8/7c on CBS this Thursday to find out and stick with Big Blagger for latest.
